Have you ever been asked to complete a 48-hour LVP job in a 12-hour window? When and how did project weather delays become YOUR problem?

Flooring Subcontractor to MAPEI Sales Rep.: Hey MAPEI! I got this LVP job. It’s just two ground floor offices and a store front area.
MAPEI Sales Rep.: OK, good.
Flooring Subcontractor to MAPEI Sales Rep.: The GC is behind on the schedule because of the big storm.
MAPEI Sales Rep.: OK.
Flooring Subcontractor to MAPEI Sales Rep.: They just poured the slab two weeks ago. There’s no time for moisture testing. The PM just called me and asked if I could do this job on Saturday. You got anything for this?
MAPEI Sales Rep.: Yes! Yes, we do! MAPEI's Planiprep® MRS and Ultrabond® G15Planiprep MRS is a hydraulic-cement-based skimcoating compound with no moisture limits. Try to get the offices skimcoated by 9:00 a.m. and then get the retail areas skimcoated before lunch. When you come back from lunch, use Ultrabond G15 to install the LVP. Ultrabond G15 is a two-part epoxy adhesive with no moisture limits. As you are installing, you will put a pressure-applied coat of Ultrabond G15 over the concrete using the flat side of the trowel. This step will give you the moisture protection that you need. Then, you will immediately comb the ridges with the notched side of the trowel and set the LVP into the wet glue. You will have to work backwards towards the door and stay off the floor for at least 6 hours. But, you should be able to finish everything in one day.
Flooring Subcontractor to MAPEI Sales Rep.: That’s great! Thanks MAPEI!
