MAPEPROOF FBT

MAPEPROOF FBT

Protect and waterproof foundation structures

MAPEPROOF FBT is a waterproofing system for structures below ground level that fully-bonds to poured concrete.

MAPEPROOF FBT forms an effective barrier against groundwater, moisture in the ground and methane and also prevents lateral migration of water between the foundation structure and the membrane.

MAPEPROOF FBT also forms a protective barrier against radon, a naturally-occurring invisible, odourless gas hazardous for people’s health, to prevent it penetrating into structures.

MAPEPROOF FBT is a waterproofing membrane consisting of a layer of synthetic FPO bonded to a polypropylene non-woven fabric backing which, after concrete has been placed, adheres monolithically to the concrete and remains bonded permanently over time.

The MAPEPROOF FBT system is completed by accessory items (such as strips) and Mapeproof SA self-adhesive membrane.

Using this system enables an effective, fully–bonded waterproofing membrane to be installed both before and after placing concrete for foundation structures.
The MAPEPROOF FBT SYSTEM is highly versatile. It may be used to waterproof any type of foundation and by any specialised waterproofing contractor with experience of other types waterproofing systems for foundations.
