Thermal insulation products form a complex system made up of different materials, each one certified to comply with the most restrictive European standards. The Mapei external thermal insulation system, called the Mapetherm system, is the result of a careful analysis of all the components typically used in an external system and of the variables that influence its performance. Apart from being an effective way of reducing energy consumption in new homes, it is the most efficient way of achieving an immediate improvement in the energy efficiency of existing buildings. Also, the system is so versatile that even natural stone and ceramic may be applied to coat the surface, particularly large format, thin tiles.
