Levelling systems and spacers extend the Mapei product range for the world of ceramics: MAPELEVEL EASYWDG, MAPELEVEL EASY and MAPEI TILE SPACER, the new manual systems by Mapei
presented at Cersaie 2021, make installation work quicker and help eliminate steps between tiles.
MAPELEVEL EASYWDG
This system is made from polypropylene and allows ceramic floor and wall tiles to be installed with the maximum precision. It may also be used for the most difficult installation situations and is particularly recommended for installing large format tiles.
Designed for manual installation work without having to use pliers,
MAPELEVEL EASYWDG makes laying tiles easier and quicker. The ergonomic shape of the wedge makes it easier to insert into the spacer while the ridges, with thinner, closely-pitched grooves, allows for more precise positioning of the tiles. Once the adhesive has set, the system can be easily removed with a rubber mallet or your foot: the wedge separates easily from the disposable element and may then be used again.
Available in different colour-coded thicknesses, the spacers enable perfectly straight grout lines to be formed in the exact size required.
MAPELEVEL EASY
MAPELEVEL EASY is the rapid-thread levelling system for ceramic and stone floor and wall tiles. Particularly recommended for installing large formats, it has been specifically developed to help tilers when installing tiles. The system enables tilers to correct any steps or uneven areas between tiles and obtain perfectly flat tiling on floors and walls.
It is made up of two parts: a reusable levelling wheel, MapeLevel Easy Cap, and a threaded spacer available in three different versions (linear, T and X) which need to be chosen according to the type of tile and layout of the tiles. Each version of the spacer is available in 6 different thicknesses to form grout lines from 1 to 5 mm wide.
MAPEI TILE SPACER
MAPEI TILE SPACER is a complete range of spacers in various sizes, thicknesses and formats and are used to install ceramic and stone tiles on floors and walls.
Developed to help tilers during installation, they enable grout lines to be formed that are uniform and perfectly straight.
The spacers in the MAPEI TILE SPACER range are available in various thicknesses and shapes to suit any type of ceramic and stone floor and wall tile and various layouts of tiles.
Used in combination with the MAPELEVEL range, they help to install perfect floor and wall tiling more quickly and more accurately.
