Mapei has donated products from its range of wall coatings for creating murals for hospitals in the Lazio region that had to cope with the Covid crisis
The mural being unveiled on 22nd July (the day of the press conference to officially present it) is a heartfelt “Thank You” to all the medical and healthcare staff involved in the health care crisis at twelve different hospitals in the Lazio region: Lazzaro Spallanzani National Institute of Infectious Diseases, Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic, Istituti Fisioterapici Ospitalieri, San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital, Sandro Pertini Hospital, Tor Vergata Polyclinic, Sant’Eugenio Hospital, San Filippo Neri Hospital, in Rome, Belcolle Hospital in Viterbo, San Camillo de Lellis Hospital in Rieti, Fabrizio Spaziani Hospital in Frosinone e Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in Latina.
To the project designed by Sabina Minutillo Turtur and Renato Fontana, sponsored by the Lazio Region, 9 street artists, who have always been committed to community-social work, have already adhered.
Mapei decided to contribute to the project by donating its COLORITE PERFORMANCE wall finish that is highly resistant to UV rays and available in a range of colours based on the automatic Colormap system.
The “Thank You” project is part of Mapei projects to help fight the Covid pandemic.
